GREAT EXPECTATIONS

The Erie High School Education Foundation has “Great Expectations” for each EHS student past and present. Our goal is to make sure that all students at Erie High School have a post-high school plan for furthering their education toward a fulfilling career. This plan, be it college or university, trade school, military service, internship, or apprenticeship, will be supported by the school and community with appropriate classes, opportunities for work experience and scholarship support available for students to achieve their dreams and goals for a bright future.

Serving On the Board

Our Board of Directors is made up of a diverse group of professionals from the Erie community. All have direct ties to Erie High School by having children who attend or attended EHS or who have graduated from EHS themselves. We consist of a lawyer and former student as well as a parent, a teacher who grew up in Erie, two school administrators, a local nonprofit leader and parent, a tradesman and local business owner of 40 years and a parent, a national business owner entrepreneur and parent, a local CPA and parent, a former SVVSD employee and parent, and an international business head of sales and parent.

The students on the Student Advisory Panel serve for a one-year term starting as juniors and ending their service in January of their senior year.  They provide the Board with information from the student's perspective which is of utmost importance to the Erie High School Education Foundation.

The EHS Education Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee consists of current EHS Student Advisors to the Board, Board Members, EHS Administrators and selected community volunteers.
