Thank you for your interest in applying for the Erie High School Education Foundation Scholarship. The purpose of this Scholarship is to help current Erie High School (Colorado, USA) seniors, alumni and faculty/staff successfully achieve their dreams of post-secondary education and a better life. Scholarships help students earning degrees or certifications at universities, colleges, trade schools, or specialized training institutions.

EHSEF recognizes that some students face unique challenges, and we consider not only where students are currently in their academic achievements but what they have overcome.

There are 6 Scholarship Types - Alumni, Senior, Erie Lifetimer, Tradesman, Child of an American Veteran and EHS Faculty/Staff- all of which require an application to be completed on AwardSpring. All EHS graduating seniors will be considered for the Senior Scholarship. There is a separate scholarship application solely for currently employed EHS Faculty/Staff. A staff member may receive this scholarship only once. To access the Erie High School Faculty/Staff application, a code must be obtained from Principal Griffin.

Graduating EHS Seniors who additionally qualify for the Erie Lifetimer, Tradesman, or Child of an American Veteran will be prompted to complete additional requirements- please budget your time wisely as the main application must be completed in its entirety (including recommendation) before the Lifetimer, Tradesman or Veteran applications can be started.

Recommenders: If an EHS senior or alumni asked you to recommend them for the EHSEF Scholarship, the first step is for the student to set up an account in AwardSpring. The student will enter YOUR name and email address in the recommendation section. You will be sent a link from AwardSpring asking you to complete a short-answer questionnaire about the student. The student cannot submit their application until your section is complete so please submit the questionnaire no later than 2/9/26. Do not use the student’s name in your response since all applications are blinded for committee review.
